FREAKING RAGE

This derpy doodle actually has a story behind it. (When does my stuff not have one?)

So I'm playin Portal 2 at a friend's house, and I think it's pretty awesome. I scrounge up the money to buy it and the upgrade my computer needs to run it.

I wait patiently for two weeks while these two items arrive.

I spend an hour installing the upgrade.

I take a minute to see the difference in my computer. Slightly different interface, but runs WAY faster now. I'm happy with the results.

I insert the Portal 2 disc into my computer, expecting to be able to jump on within 15 minutes and start playing.

An error message shows up on Steam when I try to open it, saying my hardware doesn't meet the requirements to play.

I check, and it says my video card is an ATI Radeon 1600x. I need a 2400x.

I do some research online to see how much said video card costs, and find some shocking news.

Video cards in iMacs can't be replaced. In order to do so, you'd have to open the computer and pry it out with a screwdriver.



At that point, I felt like running a screwdriver through my computer.

So I buy a PS3 copy off of Gamefly (I've finished it by now, but that's not the point), and sell the computer copy on Amazon again.

A week later, I receive an email from the buyer saying the game can't be installed on their computer. So I don't get back my FREAKING $30. I DERPED and forgot that I already "installed" it on my computer, and the activation code was invalid. I AM SO SMART EVERYONE. I SHOULD TEACH LINEAR ALGEBRA OR SOMETHING I SO SMART.



But yeah. All that is past now, I've finished the game (both single-player and coop). Except I now look upon my computer with a mixture of love, hate, and respect. I just decided to doodle in Photoshop to commemorate that evening. Good night everyone.
